A Note from our Mayor

On behalf of the residents, merchants, and the city council and staff of Montgomery, I want to issue a warm welcome to all who visit this site. We invite you to come and visit our historic district, see the beautifully restored homes, visit our merchants in the downtown area, and do not forget to visit Cedar Brake Park or Homecoming Park. Check out the West Montgomery County Courthouse Annex and Library. Stop and stroll around the pond at the Rotary friendship Park. Soon to open will be Fernland History Park located next door to the library. Those wishing to relocate may want to visit the planned Community of Buffalo Springs, Mia Lago, or Water Stone where you can find the home of your dreams or a lot on which to build. We have the best school system in Texas! Come aboard! We would love to have you!
