City Secretary's Office

The purpose of the Office of the City Secretary is:

• To provide support, assistance and information to the City Council;
• To preserve and improve access to municipal records and historical documents;
• To safeguard the municipal election and records management processes;
• To administrator information to the public;
• To provide leadership and assistance for other administrative departments in the City of Montgomery

City Secretary - Carol Langley

Carol Langley has been with the City of Montgomery since April, 1990 and was a part time City Secretary and in December, 1990 was appointed a full time City Secretary. She is an active member of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association. Carol and her husband, James, reside in Montgomery and have two sons and two granddaughters.
