The Planning & Zoning Board is responsible to interpret and administer the Subdivision Ordinance, the Zoning Ordinance, The Historic District, and the Corridor Enhancement Ordinance.

The Board of Adjustments provides judicial review of zoning, decisions and requests for variances of the Zoning Ordinance

Montgomery Industrial Development Corp. was incorporated to promote and encourage development of commercial, industrial and tourism enterprises. MIDC also stimulates employment and the general welfare of the City.
